The new 800V/900V WMOS™ SuperJunction Mosfet family from WAYON Semiconductor is available from TRS-STAR GmbH. The new high-voltage power Mosfets are based on the already known multi-EPI structure. Due to the optimised structure, the devices offer higher overvoltage resistance and improved electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) at larger reverse voltages. This improvement makes switching applications more efficient and compact. The WAYON WMOS™ Mosfet family uses an improved charge-balancing technology that offers users a cost-effective alternative with little customisation effort.

The new series starts with two devices in 800V/0.22Ohm and 900V/0.23 Ohm variants in various SMD and THT package options. The series will soon be extended by further components in different power classes.

Typical applications are power supplies, chargers, LED lighting systems, adapters, PCs, LCD TVs, uninterruptible power supplies and servers as well as household appliances.
