Robust touchscreen solutions from Mildex Optical Inc. are available from TRS-STAR GmbH in Stutensee. The displays correspond to the military standard and can be used in the automotive, avionics, industry, medicine and military sectors. They are characterized by a scratch-resistant touch surface and are legible even in direct sunlight or in very bright surroundings. They are designed for the extended temperature range from -40°C to + 70°C and are shielded against electromagnetic influences and resistant to condensation.

The screens are available in sizes from 4.3'' to 32'' and optionally with 2, 4 or 10 gesturing points. They have COF (Controller on Flex) or Passive FPC and have 12 C I USB I RS232 interfaces. All models are available customer-specific with decorative glass, their own housing shape, customer logo and in special paint. The glass thickness of the TO substrate is available in the 0.7 / 1.1 / 1.8 / 2.8 mm variants. The performance of the display can be adjusted suitable to the application, and ultra low activation is also possible. The degree of hardness corresponds to 7H. Optical bonding or adhesive tape bonding is possible by the manufacturer.
